Project Voke was our first Project with The Belgotex Foundation, utilising industrial waste. For this Project, we worked with two groups of ladies from the Swayimane community.

Group 1 - Business Training

Group 1 consisted of 8 ladies that already owned small enterprises. We worked with them over 26 sessions to complete SETA accredited business training to help them grow their businesses and learn important business management skills

Group 2 - Sewing Training

This group was trained to better use and care for the industrial machines they were donated. They were taught to convert Carpet Samples from the Voke Range into handbags that were sold by themselves in their community, some were exported internationally and other sold to various people in the Pietermaritzburg and Durban  Area.
